Carolyn Savage,from Toledo, Ohio, recently gave birth to 5 pound 3 ounce baby boy. A blessing. But there was one problem, the baby is not hers.
Carolyn and her husband went to fertility clinic to get their embryo placed inside of her. The clinic mistakenly put the embryo of Paul and Shannon Morrell, from Detroit, inside of Carolyn.
You have got to be kidding me!! How does a medical clinic make such a boneheaded mistake as that. This woman, who is overjoyed to find out she is pregnant, gets knocked off her feet with this disastrous news.
The Morrell's called Carolyn a "guardian angel" because her and husband not only decided to go through with the pregnancy but to give the baby up. The Savages do not even want a to go through with a custody battle.
Make no mistake about it, that was probably the hardest thing she could ever do. She carried someone elses child for nine months and hand him over no problem. Even if it is not her child she still had to fall in love with him.
They have hired attorneys to make sure that clinic accepts responsibility for their "small" role in this whole incident. If you are interested in seeing people lose all their money then you need to pay attention to this. This clinic will be renamed The Savage-Morell or Morell-Savage clinic after it is all said and done.
As a man, imagine the moment when you are about to have your first born son, then imagine someone walks in the room and says they are the daddy. That’s how it would feel to me. Devastating.
I would not have been surprised if this headlined read: “Clinic gets blown for up dumbest mistake in medical history.”
